Samah Qassim is an MA student in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and she is the mother of three, and lives in the Bet Safafa neighborhood of Jerusalem. She holds a BA in Psychology and Education. She finds the study of the Arabic language fascinating and expansive, branching out into many challenging fields. To Qassim, being an Arabic language researcher is not obvious, because in order to succeed, you must have something unique that sets you apart from those around you. She is excited to be working in the field of Judeo-Arabic as well!
